Parques Nacionales repriced the national parks on 1 June 2026. The table below reproduces the Tierra del Fuego tariff line by line from the official tariff page, with the dollar figure first at the site rate of ARS 1,508 to the dollar. Every category shown here pays per calendar day unless the pass says otherwise.
Daily Passes and Discount Categories
The general category is what a foreign visitor pays. Argentine nationals and provincial residents pay less, and students with valid ID sit in their own tier. These are the official pesos figures with our dollar pairs.

Multi-Day Passes
If you plan more than one day in the park, the flexipass tiers beat buying single days. Our sum: two single general days would cost ARS 80,000 ($53.10), so the 3-day flexipass at the same ARS 80,000 is effectively a free third day. The 7-day flexipass at ARS 140,000 ($92.84 our sum) works out far below seven single days at ARS 280,000.

What the Table Does Not Say
No official page publishes a refund policy for the daily pass, so treat purchases as non-refundable. The next repricing window after 1 June 2026 is not announced. The official page also does not state whether the multi-day passes qualify for the second-day discount, so ask at the gate if that matters to you.

Where and How to Buy
There are two ways to get tierra del fuego national park tickets: online through Parques Nacionales, or at the park gate. Both cost the same for a first visit. The difference shows up on your second day.
Buying Online
Web sales run through the Parques Nacionales system and take card payment. You receive a QR code per ticket. Buy online if there is any chance you will return within 72 hours, because the 50% second-day discount applies only to web-purchased tickets.
The second-day ticket costs half the daily rate, so ARS 20,000 ($13.26 our sum) for a general foreign visitor, and it must be used within 72 hours of the first entry.
Buying at the Gate
You can pay at the entrance on Ruta Nacional 3. The gate sells the same daily passes at the same tariff. Gate purchases do not carry the second-day discount.
There is no stated rule about last entry time to the park, and the official pages do not publish a cut-off for buying at the gate.
At the Gate With a Web Ticket
Show the QR code from your online purchase at the entrance, on paper or on your phone. Phone signal inside the park is not guaranteed, so a screenshot or printout is our pick. Name changes on web tickets are not addressed on any official page we could check, so book under the exact name of the person travelling.
One Fee, One Calendar Day
The pass covers one calendar day, not 24 hours. Enter at 07:45 and you still pay a fresh fee the next morning. That is why the 3-day flexipass matters for serious hikers, and why the 72-hour discount window lines up neatly with a second morning in the park.

Who Goes Free
Several categories enter the park without paying. Bring the document for each person, because the gate checks them. The official tariff page lists the categories, and the list below translates it with the papers to carry.
These groups pay nothing for the daily pass, per the official tariff page.
- Children aged 0-6. Carry a birth certificate or passport showing the age.
- Argentine pensioners with DNI.
- People with disabilities, with the corresponding CUD or certificate.
- Local residents of Tierra del Fuego, with resident ID.
- Malvinas veterans, with veteran accreditation.
- Licensed guides, with their credentials.
Discounted But Not Free
Argentine residents pay ARS 18,000 ($11.94) and Tierra del Fuego provincial residents pay ARS 8,000 ($5.97), both with ID. Students pay ARS 12,000 ($7.96) with a valid student card. None of the free categories needs a paid ticket, but everyone still passes the entrance control.

How the Fee Works With Tours and the Train
The entry fee is a separate charge from any tour or train ticket. Here is the plain arithmetic, so you can decide whether the entry alone is the cheaper route or a tour makes sense.
Tours: Check Whether Entry Is In
Most park tours are priced per person and the listings usually do not state that the park fee is included. On our cards the entry_included field for the park tours reads not stated, check the booking terms. Before you book, open the booking terms on the listing and search for the word entry.
If it is not included, add ARS 40,000 ($26.50) per adult on top of the tour price.
The Train Never Includes It
The End of the World Train states explicitly on its official site that the park entry fee is not included and is mandatory for the ride. The station sits inside the park, so you cannot reach it without paying. Train fares run Turista adult ARS 80,000 ($53.10) for 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, up from ARS 70,000 ($46.40) in the July to September window.
The Honest Sum
Our sum for the do-it-yourself route to park plus train in the October to March fare window: train Turista ARS 80,000 ($53.10) plus park entry ARS 40,000 ($26.50) makes $79.60 per adult, before you arrange any transport from town, and there is no city bus to the park. The National Park and End of the World Train tour lists at $49.50 for five hours with hotel pickup, though its entry inclusion is not stated on the listing. Even if you add the fee to the tour, the tour with pickup comes out ahead of the DIY sum. Check the booking terms either way.

Getting to the Gate
The park entrance sits on Ruta Nacional 3 km 3,079, about 11 km west of Ushuaia. No city bus line serves the park. Shuttle minibuses of the Transporte Regular leave from Maipú & Juana Fadul in town, daily roughly 8:00-20:00.
Recent visitor reports put the round trip at ARS 16,000-28,000 ($10.61-$18.57), but there is no published fare on any official page, so treat that as a range only. Taxi and Uber also work. The End of the World Train station at Ruta Nacional 3 km 8 lies inside the park, past the entry control.
